Sky Fun Amusement Park: Escape to Tagaytay Part 1

Tagaytay City is the perfect place to have a temporary escape from our hectic schedules and the hustle and bustle of the Metro. This is an alternative to Baguio for those who don't like a long travel time. It is just an hour from Cavite and 2-3 hours away from Metro Manila.

My siblings and I,  together with our friends suddenly had the urge to go on a trip to Tagaytay to celebrate my dear brother's birthday. Since we went on spontaneous trip, the only goal was to get to Tagaytay so once we got there, we had to ponder on the things we would like to do.
We opted to start in Sky Fun Amusement Park along Aguinaldo Highway in Tagaytay.

With it's well-known Sky Eye,  the Tallest Ferris Wheel (63 meters/ 207 ft, 32 gondolas) in the country it is a must-place to bring your family and friends.

Also Try
Enchanted Kingdom's: Wheel of Fate - 39.6 meters/ 130 ft, 36 gondolas
MOA Eye -  55 meters/ 180 ft, 36 gondolas
Star City's: The Giant Wheel - 62.5 meters/ 205 ft, 32 gondolas

The entrance fee is Php 100, but we were able to avail the 50% off promo. They don't offer ride-all-you-can ticket or packaged rates. They only have pay-per-ride option maybe because most of the rides in the park are for kids.  Paying a ride-all-you-can for adults would not be worth it.

Sky Fun Amusement Park Attractions

Sky Eye

Each gondola are enclosed and fit with air-conditioning units and can fit up to a maximum of four adults.
The ride is one loop around, which lasts for 10 minutes.
The view from the top is really breathtaking and the 360 degree-view of the ridge would be an ideal place to propose especially during sunset.

Super Viking

For an adrenaline junkie, I think it would've been awesome if the ride is facing the ridge rather than sideways. (Who's with me?)

Nessi Coaster

Also try the Nessi Coaster for an adrenaline rush.

Here are the other fun attractions that kids and kids at heart can enjoy:

Carousel
Express Train
Red Baron
Mini Pirate Ship
Horseback Riding
A breathtaking view at the back of the park.
Mime performances all throughout the park.
For a whole day stay guest might opt to use/rent a Gazebo and choose sizes perfect for small or big groups.

Bringing of food and drinks inside is discouraged but there are food kiosk for every taste conveniently located throughout the park.

We loved the experience in the Sky Fun Amusement Park.  It's a great place for the kids and kids at heart out there.  Nothing provides more lasting memories than a great experience, especially when shared with friends and family.
the entire morning and head over to the Picnic Grove to have our lunch.
