October of 2016, when I decided to join another twin hike hosted by Tiangala Travel and Tours. I got comfortable with the service given by the organizers and staff of this travel group so I ended up joining their events.

Mt. Oro is a newly open mountain in Brgy Mascap. It is more of a hill than a mountain. The trail comprised of open grassland and moderately steep assault. We started the ascent around 4 in the morning. It's still dark but the trail is easy since it's quite an open one.
Makati - Ortigas Skyline at night. Sorry blurred! Lol.
After less than an hour, we reached the foot of the mountain.
Take 5 buds!
Trail bud!
We started early and reached the summit after almost 2 hours trek just in time for the sunrise.
Slight silhouette shot at the summit. Haha!
The summit is a wide open flat ground full with tall grass so wearing arm warmers or full sleeved shirts is highly recommended .

GROUP PHOTO OPS
One thing I loved about joining group tours is the fact that there will be all kinds of different people whom I can make friends and socialize as much as I want. It's just nice traveling with other like-minded individuals who respect my independence and I can be myself without judgments.

We stayed and rested at the summit for an hour and we start to descent around 7:30 am. We back-trailed to the jump-off via rough road to Mt. Sipit Ulang.
